How do I create tasks with Siri?
Say "Add to 2Do", and Siri asks what the task is. These phrases work too:
- "Add a task to 2Do"
- "New task in 2Do"
- "Create a task in 2Do"
- "Remember this in 2Do"
2Do ships these phrases with the app, in every language 2Do speaks, so there is nothing to record or enable inside 2Do first. Siri can also find tasks ("Find tasks in 2Do") and complete them ("Complete a task in 2Do").
New tasks land in your default capture list. Set it under Settings > Tasks > New Tasks.
On iOS 27 or later, Siri can also work with your tasks conversationally, so you can create, update, complete, delete, and look up tasks by asking rather than by using a set phrase. macOS 27 or later does the same on the Mac. See Asking Siri to Work with Your Tasks.

If you ask Siri to "remind me" without naming 2Do, the item goes to Apple's Reminders app instead. That still reaches 2Do if you sync with the Apple Reminders method. Otherwise, name 2Do in what you say.
While a passcode is set under Settings > Security, 2Do keeps its data away from Siri and Shortcuts entirely, so voice capture stops working until you turn the passcode off. See Password Protection.
