Can I email tasks to 2Do?
Yes — the Mac and iOS apps each have their own way of doing it.
On the Mac, Mail to 2Do gives 2Do a private, receive-only email address — anything you (or anyone you trust) send to it becomes a task, with subject instructions like due(tomorrow), priority(!!!), list(Work), and tag(home) filing it as it arrives.
On iOS, Email-to-2Do is an add-on and one-time in-app purchase that connects to your own IMAP email account and turns matching messages into tasks based on rules you configure — subject begins with todo:, flagged, important, sender, or recipient — and it understands the same subject keywords. Google email accounts aren't supported, as Google requires a separate approval process for apps that connect to Gmail. The IMAP approach is being retired: a private-address replacement like the Mac's Mail to 2Do is coming to iOS in an upcoming update.
The Android app doesn't include an email capture feature.
