How do I change the maximum distance for Nearby alerts on iOS?

Open Settings > Nearby in 2Do.

1. Under Distance, tap Maximum Distance.
2. Pick how far out 2Do should watch. There are six choices, from 250 metres up to 10 kilometres.

Distances are shown in the units your device's region uses, so the same choices read in miles where that is the local convention. There is no separate units setting inside 2Do; change your region under the system Settings app if you want different units.

Nearby alerts still depend on your tasks having locations and on 2Do having location permission. If Precise Location is turned off for 2Do, alerts may arrive late or not at all, and the Nearby pane shows a warning with a way to fix it.
