How can I try the latest 2Do for Mac after using an older version?

If you previously used an older version of 2Do, including the Mac App Store version, a normal reinstall will keep its local app data and licensing state. To start a clean 14-day trial of the latest direct-download version:

1. In 2Do > Settings > Backups, open a recent backup's ⋯ menu and choose Save a Copy….
2. Quit 2Do and move the existing 2Do app from Applications to the Trash.
3. Follow the complete Mac uninstall steps to remove all 2Do preferences and app containers.
4. Restart your Mac before opening 2Do again. You will have to setup your sync account again in settings.
5. Download the latest direct version, move it to Applications, and open it to begin the trial.

The full reset removes all local tasks, settings, local backups, and saved 2Do licensing state from this Mac. Save a backup outside 2Do before continuing. A previous Mac App Store purchase remains in your Apple account, but it does not license the separate direct-download version.
