What is the maximum length for a list name?

List names can be up to 25 characters long. If you type or import a longer name, 2Do shortens it to fit automatically — nothing else about the list changes.

The limit keeps list names compatible with the sync services 2Do supports: CalDAV servers cap a calendar's display name, and 2Do applies the same budget everywhere so a list never has to be renamed mid-sync. It applies wherever a list gets its name — creating, renaming, and importing alike.

Emoji and some symbols may count as more than one character toward the limit, but a name is never cut in the middle of an emoji.
