My tasks are missing — Today counter shows a count but no tasks appear

This happens when those tasks have a future start date. They're scheduled to begin later, but they're still due today, so the counter sees them.

Fix: Use the clock-shaped button on the sort bar to toggle visibility of scheduled tasks. The "missing" tasks reappear. Your tasks aren't actually missing — they're hidden because Smart Scheduling is keeping them out of view until their start date arrives.
