How does the Password Protection functionality work in 2Do?

2Do provides you with the ability to lock certain lists or the whole app with FaceID / TouchID / Pass-code. If you forget this password, you will need to reset the application and its database, re-install and then re-sync or recover from a previous backup. The passcode itself is saved within the iOS / macOS keychain and we cannot access this on your behalf.

Bear in mind that this is functionality is there to prevent unauthorized access to the app / lists / tasks and provided as is without any warranty and liability. Anyone that is able to authenticate via FaceID / Passcode can access and copy / export your data. The data inside of 2Do is thus as secure and accessible as any other app on your device. Just as anyone would be able to read your emails if they were to unlock your device.
