Mini Calendar / Calendar Control
The Mini Calendar sits at the bottom of the Lists Panel on the left side of the 2Do window. It's a compact month view, but it does more than show you the date — you can use it to spot busy days, filter the task list by date, defer tasks by dragging, and create new tasks on a specific day, all without leaving your current list.
Spot Busy Days at a Glance
Each day on which a task starts or is due shows a small ribbon on top of the date. The more ribbons you see, the busier the day.
Future occurrences of repeating tasks also paint their ribbons forward, so the Mini Calendar gives you a preview of upcoming weeks before you click into any list. This is handy when you're planning ahead and want to avoid stacking too many tasks onto the same day.
Filter to One Day
Click a day to filter the current task list to just the tasks for that date. Click the same day again to clear the filter.
This works no matter which list you're in — All, Today, a regular list, or a Smart List — and lets you focus on a single day without changing the list's sort order or losing your place.
Filter to a Date Range
Click and drag across several days to filter the task list to that range.
For example, drag from Monday through Friday to see your working-week deadlines, or drag across the weekend to plan errands and home tasks.
Defer a Task by Dragging
Drag a task onto a date in the Mini Calendar to defer it to that day. The task's due date updates automatically — no editor required.
This is the fastest way to reschedule while reviewing a list. To move several tasks to the same day in one go, select them first (⌘-click or ⇧-click) and drag the bundle onto the target date.

If you only want to look ahead without rescheduling, use the date filter first. Then, if you decide a task belongs on a different day, drag it onto that date.
Create a Task on a Specific Date
Hold ⌥ (Option) and click a date to create a new task with that day pre-filled as the due date.
Use this when you're planning around a known day — a bill to pay, a call to make, a form to submit, or any errand that only makes sense on a specific date.
Clearing the Filter
If the task list looks shorter than expected, the Mini Calendar may still be filtering by a day or date range. Click the selected date again to clear the filter, or switch to a different list to return to your normal view.
