2Do for Apple Watch
2Do includes a companion app for Apple Watch. It's a glanceable view of your tasks for moments when reaching for your iPhone isn't an option.
Installing
When you install 2Do for iPhone, the companion Watch app installs automatically on a paired Apple Watch (provided "Show on Apple Watch" is on). If it doesn't appear, open the iOS Watch app → My Watch → scroll to 2Do → toggle Show App on Apple Watch.
What's on the Watch
- Task view — a quick view of your most relevant tasks, updated as your iPhone syncs.
- Complications — show a number, the next task, or quick info on supported watch faces.
- Notifications — task Alerts appear on the wrist with action buttons (Done, Snooze, Defer).
- Defer — the Watch app includes a defer-task interface for pushing a task forward without taking your phone out. The Watch app pairs to your iPhone in real time — task changes you make from the Watch propagate back to the iPhone (and from there, on to your other devices via sync).
Adding a Complication
- Long-press your watch face → Edit.
- Tap a complication slot.
- Scroll to 2Do and pick the variant.
- Save.

The exact set of complications and task summaries depends on your watchOS version. Newer watchOS releases generally expose more complication families than older ones.
