2Do for Web Privacy Policy

2Do for Web is designed to keep your task data under your control. We do not host your task database. Your synced data is stored in your iCloud account, and your browser keeps a local working copy.

This policy explains how Beehive Innovations handles information when you use 2Do for Web. Our general privacy policy covers our native apps, purchases, website, and support services.

Your Tasks and iCloud​

2Do for Web syncs your tasks with your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. We do not keep a hosted copy of your task database.

Your data is encrypted while it travels to and from iCloud and while it is stored there. Apple manages iCloud's security and access controls. See Apple's iCloud data security overview and Apple's privacy policy.

Apple Sign-In​

You sign in directly with Apple. We do not receive or store your Apple Account password.

If you choose Keep me signed in, the app remembers your sign-in in this browser. Leave it off on a shared computer. You can sign out through More > Manage Account.

Data in Your Browser​

The app keeps a local copy of your tasks, pending changes, attachments, and settings in your browser so you can work with your lists.

To remove this copy, let all changes finish syncing, sign out, then clear the web app's site data in your browser settings. Use these steps when you finish on a shared computer. Your synced data stays in iCloud.

Attachment and Large-Note Uploads​

Attachments and large notes are stored in your iCloud account. Some uploads pass through our transfer service, which forwards the content to Apple without keeping a hosted copy.

We record limited technical details, such as whether an upload completed, to operate the service and resolve problems. Uploaded content is not included in these logs or used for advertising, profiling, or AI training.

Licenses and Essential Cookies​

Our licensing service uses your 2Do for Mac license or subscription details and basic access records to confirm and manage your Web access. For Mac App Store and Setapp subscriptions, the Mac app contacts this service to confirm eligibility. These checks do not include your tasks, notes, or attachments.

Essential cookies remember your Web access and help keep the service secure. They are required for the web app to work and are not used for advertising.

Hosting and Diagnostics​

Our hosting providers process IP addresses and basic browser and request information to deliver the app, keep it secure, and troubleshoot problems. We use this information to operate and support the service, not for advertising.

The web app has no advertising and does not use analytics to track your task content. Cookies on our marketing website are covered by our website cookie policy.

When you contact support, we receive your message and any screenshots, logs, or files you choose to share. We use these to respond to your request. See our support privacy terms.

Your Choices and Requests​

You can edit and delete your tasks in 2Do. Synced changes update your iCloud account and your other connected devices. Your tasks remain in iCloud if you sign out or your Web access ends.

For access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, such as licensing or support records, contact support@2doapp.com. We retain this information only as needed to provide our services, keep them secure, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Apple handles requests about information held in your iCloud account under its privacy policy.

We may update this page when the web app or its data handling changes. The date below identifies the latest revision.
