Download 2Do for Android

This is the same app you get from Google Play, signed by us with the same certificate. We also publish it here so you can get fixes as soon as they are ready, without waiting for Google Play to finish its review.

Open this page on the Android phone or tablet where you want 2Do, by going to www.2doapp.com/android/download in its browser.

For most people, Google Play is the easiest way to install 2Do and keep it up to date. Get 2Do on Google Play

Install the app

These steps are for Android 8 and later. The wording on your phone may differ a little.

  1. Download the file

    On your Android phone or tablet, tap Download 2Do above. If the browser warns that the file could harm your device, choose to keep it.

  2. Open it

    When the download finishes, open it from the notification or from your browser’s downloads.

  3. Allow your browser to install apps

    The first time you install an app from a browser, Android asks for permission. Tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back. Android asks once for each browser.

  4. Install 2Do

    Tap Install. If Google Play Protect offers to scan the app, you can let it scan, then continue.

Samsung phones

Phones that came with One UI 6.1.1 or later have Auto Blocker turned on by default, which stops apps from installing from outside the app stores. Turn it off in Settings > Security and privacy > Auto Blocker, install 2Do, then turn it back on if you like.

To update later, download the new version from this page and install it the same way. Your tasks and settings stay as they are.

If you already have 2Do from Google Play

You can install this download over the app you have. Your tasks and settings stay as they are.

  • On Android 14 and later, your phone may say that 2Do usually gets updates from Google Play Store. Tap Update anyway.
  • After that, Google Play may ask you to confirm its next update of 2Do instead of installing it on its own.
  • Android won’t install an older version over a newer one. If your phone already has a newer version, keep using it.

Buying Pro

You buy Pro inside the app through Google Play, as before. If you already have Pro, it keeps working. Google Play can take a week or more to review a new version, and until this version is on Google Play, buying Pro may not be available in it.
