Frequently Asked Questions

Do you plan to release Windows and/or web app?

Unfortunately no plans for now. If you’re into using the web more often, using Toodledo or iCloud as your sync method will help as you can access your tasks online

Why don’t you have your own cloud sync solution?

Will I have to pay for 2Do for iOS 7?

No, we won’t release a new version just to charge you again. 2Do for iOS 7 will be free for all who previously purchased iOS version.

Why there are no actions in Mac app?

We plan to add actions in future update. Meanwhile this feature is accessable only in our mobile apps.

Do you plan to add AppleScript support?

Yes, it’s coming in a future Mac app update. But you can link your emails from Mail.app or AirMail to 2Do’s tasks with the current app.

Can I share tasks and collaboratively work on them?

2Do itself doens’t support collaborative tasks but if you’re syncing via iCloud and one of you shares their list with the other using the iCloud Share List feature (log into www.icloud.com, click on Reminders and then the little share button next to the list name). However, checklists and projects will sync as ‘flattened normal tasks’ as Shared lists don’t support meta data 2Do otherwise requires to sync across.

I can’t find the forum, where is it?

The forum was setup essentially for announcements and for users to be able to share experiences with one another. Turns out it wasn’t very effective. We’ve got a shiny new blog for announcements and tips, and our preferred method of contact will be email support.

Is there a user guide of some sort?

Yes, you can find it here.

2Do for Mac’s icon is totally different from the icon on iOS/Android. Why?

It’s confusing but it’ll all add up in coming months. We’re updating all our apps, one after another, and what we’ll have at the end is one coherent look and feel. We’re reserving usage of the new icon on Android for the new interface changes planned later this year.

Is my iOS licence transferable to Android?

Android and Apple phones are miles apart. Apple dislikes Google and Google dislikes Apple. There’s no physical way of re-using one purchase on the other platform unfortunately.
