PLEASE fix task jumping bug!

PLEASE what is taking so long to fix the bug when checking a task on a list the screen jumps to the top of the list! This is a real problem with large lists, seems this should be an easy fix since it didn't used to happen.

That was addressed in an update several versions ago. I cannot make the "jump" happen no matter how hard I try. What calendar are you in when this happens? What sort have you used in that calendar? What device do you have? What version of the app?

I noticed that if I change the list from CHECKLIST to PROJECT the jump does not happen. My list is sorted alphabetically

I also created a new CHECKLIST and the problem returns.

I Know this is way old topic, but just in case you are still on 2.7.2 and having this problem.
What worked for me:

If you go into settings > Show Done in ToDos > Set:
Exclude Projects - OFF
Exclude Checklists - OFF

your lists should stop jumping
but, of course, you lose that functionality of keeping completed tasks in list & project
