2Do crashes when recurring tasks are marked done: workaround

Thanks Shelley - that worked: to the extent that I restored the database.

However, I still have the same problem as kimble0938, writing under the heading '2Do chrashed' on 21 Nov:

"Every time, I will set a task as "done", 2Do crashed.
I tried a little bit: when the task has no repeating-announcement (week, day), everything is o.k.
But repeating-tasks will chrash, the status will not set as "done" and 2Do shuts down."

This was the initial problem that set me trying to restore in the first place, so a solution would be very welcome.

This is my report back: (my results in bold.)

It's a bug in 2.6.3 that's causing this; fix included in 2.7 (submitted to Apple a few days ago).
I assume most people are in list view when they check off a task as completed.

Could you try long-tapping the task title in list view to bring up the quick menu, then tap Done on that menu bar? This doesn't work - see below.

If that doesn't make any difference to the crashing problem, then try going into task detail and mark the item done by tapping the checkmark at the bottom of the screen. This doesn't work: 2Do still crashes.

If that doesn't help, please try changing the due date to the next planned occurrence. This works.

edit: tapping Done on the quick menu bar doesn't work - I realise that what I had done was to delete it using the trash can, and that doesn't cause a crash.
I'll use the deferring method as a workaround until 2.7 hits our screens.

There's a fourth way of marking something as done: in calendar list view, tap Edit, tap the radio button for the task, tap Status, tap Done. I'm thinking this will also cause a crash, because the other ways to mark a task done are causing crashes - but maybe somebody having this problem could check.

Nice idea, but I just tried it and it crashed.
